Believe it or not, while cannabis is making headlines in science journals every day many cannabis issues haven’t been studied extensively, and whether or not your body can build a tolerance to CBD is one of the subjects we know very little about.
Last year, the World Health Organization (WHO) held a conference that brought scientists together to focus on the use of drugs and our bodies. Long story short, the experts at the conference put their heads together and agreed to look at evidence from a plethora of other scientific studies based on cannabis and CBD. They ultimately concluded in this study that your body doesn’t form a tolerance to CBD.
Granted, everybody is unique. We may all have similar features, but under the hood, we’re all sorts of different in our bodies. Some of our bodies naturally run a little warmer or cooler. Some of our metabolisms work faster than others, and some of us have elevated or a slowed heart rate at all times.
Ultimately, CBD affects everyone differently. Because our bodies process chemicals in different ways, some of us may experience tolerance issues with CBD although many of us won’t.
