Since opening in 2016, Bud & Bloom has quickly set the bar to become one of California’s best dispensaries with their stellar customer reviews, sums of happy customers, and mouth watering product selection have earned them countless awards and industry recognition.
Even though Bud & Bloom is the new kid on the block, they’ve got their hands on one of the largest selections in SoCal with over 40 cannabis strains to choose from, including the coveted low-THC strain called Jellyfish grown by Santa Barbara’s Glass House Farms. Community outreach programs and world class budtenders that shatter the stoner stereotypes work hard to make weed more approachable for everyone.
We consider Bud & Bloom a next gen cannabis business because of the it’s emphasis on customer service and it’s inspiring interior design. Once you enter you notice the open and airy space made to make you feel comfortable and at home. As one of the only dispensaries in orange county without armed guards and security check ins, Bud & Bloom offer customers an experience similar to any other shopping experience.
“In most dispensaries, customers have to be buzzed in and walk past armed guards. It feels almost like walking into a prison,” says Jared Cox, Assistant General Manager of Bud and Bloom. “In our store, we’ve redefined the cannabis retail experience with bright, open windows. It’s inviting here. We also offer friendly Wellness Advisors, who are on staff to help customers make the right choices for their individual needs.”
Bud & Bloom is one of the more thoughtful members of the california cannabis industry, and they stand for a lot more than simply handing over weed products to recreational users. Founded upon 3 pillars of service, Bud & Bloom strives to offer the best cannabis products to their customers and patients in a safe legal setting by their knowledgeable staff. Education and community outreach are also core elements of their service.
Menu and Shopping
Bud & Bloom has a pretty large selection of flower, vape cartridges, tinctures, topicals, concentrates, and edibles. On average, they carry somewhere between 45-50 marijuana strains that vary day to day according to availability. Bud & Bloom is also one of the only dispensaries in the state to offer the coveted low-THC strain called Jellyfish grown by Santa Barbara’s Glass House Farms.
There are no minimum sales required, meaning if you want to pop in and buy a $2 joint, there’s nothing stopping you. They accept cash, credit, and debit cards. There is also an ATM on site for your convenience. Additionally, Bud & Bloom is 100% california compliant and is licensed for both medical and recreational sales.
Bud & Bloom has won several people’s choice awards since opening in November 2016. Leafly recognized Bud & Bloom as “One of the top 10 most beautiful dispensaries in the US” two years in a row, and in 2017 Bud and Bloom was nominated by Dope Magazine as most charitable dispensaries. Bud & Bloom is also the winner of Leafly’s Best in SoCal award in spring and summer 2017, thanks to so many positive customer reviews.
Bud & Bloom’s community outreach programs are some of the best in the state. Concerned with breaking those negative stoner stereotypes, the fine folks at Bud & Bloom run a variety of outreach programs that affect the individual, the community, and the people who tend to avoid marijuana and also need it: the elderly.
Bud & Bloom offers individual attention in store every day. During your 45-minute appointment, your marijuana specialist will help guide you through the purchasing process by going over your past and current medical history, your experience level, product options, delivery methods, and basic information about THC and CBD. After your appointment, you’ll have another follow up appointment to make sure you’re ready to do it on your own!
The last great community outreach program are the community education seminars. Medical Marijuana and Pain Education and Support Group is hosted by Bud & Bloom once a month and is a group where pain patients are welcome to attend and hear from a variety of local influencers and guest speakers. You don’t need to be a patient to attend.
